The Challenge
Created by a collective of community members, cultural advocates, and local business owners, On The Block initiated Second Saturdays, a recurring monthly event spanning six months. Held on the second Saturday of each month, this event aimed to provide Seattle artists with a sustainable platform, promoting vintage shops, local fashion, art, dance, and music. To enhance their impact, effective event marketing was crucial.
The Solution
We crafted an inviting and eye-catching flyer, prominently featuring a street sign that also served as a central element within the design. In addition to the flyer and comprehensive event coverage, partnerships with nearby streetwear shops resulted in exclusive monthly shirts. These shirts, unique to each event, played a pivotal role in boosting foot traffic and fostering increased engagement.
